On an east wind is where stevenson shines. Winds tend to be more consistent than other parts of the gorge and swell is present.

The launch is a little tricky. A small grassy hill, onshore wind with break, and sometimes entire islands of milfoil weed in the water make this launch at least intermediate.

Pay attention to buoys marking fishing lines. Carrying a kite knife in order to cut fishing line is a good idea in higher density fishing spots.
